# The Fixed-Point Card

## What it does

A durable promise with a visible, revisable method rather than a slogan welded to this season's machinery.

## Use when

A team is tying its customer promise to a technology, channel, or market plan that may change before the promise has had time to mean anything.

## Give it

- The customer consequence the brand intends to create.
- One current method, channel, or technology bet.
- A change that would make the bet less sensible.

## Copy this

Act as a rigorous strategy researcher. Help separate a durable brand promise from a current, uncertain delivery plan.

Read the three inputs below. Use only supplied facts and credible primary or authoritative sources when outside research is necessary. Do not invent customer views, market facts, quotations, evidence, or citations. Mark every uncertainty and assumption.

Return:
1. one plain-language customer consequence that could remain true if the technology or channel changed;
2. the current provisional bet, what it aims to prove, and the customer promise it must protect;
3. one specific review trigger, with evidence to watch;
4. one risk of confusing the promise with the method.

## You will receive

- One fixed customer consequence.
- One explicitly provisional delivery bet.
- One trigger for revisiting the bet.
